At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.5% compared to 2024, reaching 11.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

France ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.1% (from 9.5% in 2020).
