At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.1% compared to 2023, reaching 16.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

France ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.9% (from 13.9% in 2019).
