At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.9% compared to 2023, reaching 19.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Luxembourg ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 17.9% in 2019).
