At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.5% compared to 2018, reaching 13.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

France ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 12.6% in 2014).
