At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.5% compared to 2017, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

France ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 13.1% in 2013).
