Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, France's main indicators increased by 6.0% compared to 2018, reaching 22.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.1%.

France ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.3% (from 18.5% in 2014).
