Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, France's main indicators increased by 6.0% compared to 2017, reaching 21.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

France ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.5% (from 17.0% in 2013).
