Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Germany's main indicators increased by 8.6% compared to 2017, reaching 37.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

Germany ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 48.7% (from 25.3% in 2013).
