At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.1% compared to 2022, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Greece ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.0% (from 18.5% in 2018).
