At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.9% compared to 2020, reaching 19.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

Greece ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.5% (from 21.2% in 2016).
