At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.7% compared to 2020, reaching 17.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.7% (from 15.0% in 2016).
