Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Greece's main indicators increased by 2.6% compared to 2015, reaching 22.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.2%.

Greece ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 64.1% (from 13.8% in 2011).
