In 2025, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.5% compared to 2024, reaching 12.8%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.
Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.2% (from 13.8% in 2020).
