At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2022, reaching 22.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Latvia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.4% (from 23.3% in 2018).
