At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2013, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.1% compared to 2012, reaching 23.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Latvia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.8% (from 23.6% in 2008).
