At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2014, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.8% compared to 2013, reaching 24.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.6% (from 26.3% in 2009).
