At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.7% compared to 2023, reaching 23.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.0% (from 25.1% in 2019).
