At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 59.8% compared to 2009, reaching 9.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 43.5% (from 17.0% in 2005).
