At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.7% compared to 2009, reaching 5.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Luxembourg ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.4% (from 7.8% in 2005).
