At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.2% compared to 2009, reaching 22.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Poland ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.2% (from 29.3% in 2005).
