At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.4% compared to 2009, reaching 14.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Poland ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 94.5% (from 7.3% in 2005).
