At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.7% compared to 2009, reaching 17.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Poland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.1% (from 19.9% in 2005).
