Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Portugal's main indicators decreased by 3.7% compared to 2017, reaching 52.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.3% (from 49.1% in 2013).
