At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2015, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.1% compared to 2014, reaching 38.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.7% (from 32.1% in 2010).
