Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Romania's main indicators increased by 6.3% compared to 2022, reaching 25.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Romania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 23.9% in 2018).
