Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Romania's main indicators decreased by 14.1% compared to 2013, reaching 4.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Romania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 260.4% (from 1.3% in 2009).
