Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2015, Romania's main indicators increased by 17.4% compared to 2014, reaching 5.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Romania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 301.8% (from 1.4% in 2010).
