In 2020, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 10.5% compared to 2019, reaching 17.0%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.
Slovakia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.4% (from 20.1% in 2015).
