At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2009, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.0% compared to 2008, reaching 16.0%.

Sweden ranks 19th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.2% (from 12.1% in 2004).
