At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 13.0% compared to 2019, reaching 18.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Sweden ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.3% (from 18.1% in 2015).
