At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 15.1% compared to 2022, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.5%.

Sweden ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.6% (from 19.3% in 2018).
