In 2018, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.6% compared to 2017, reaching 14.6%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.
Sweden ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.7% (from 15.0% in 2013).
