In 2020, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 8.0% compared to 2019, reaching 15.0%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.
Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.0% (from 15.3% in 2015).
