Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2024, Sweden's main indicators decreased by 21.5% compared to 2023, reaching 26.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.9% (from 30.3% in 2019).
