Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Sweden's main indicators increased by 16.7% compared to 2022, reaching 33.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.3% (from 29.7% in 2018).
