THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS TO INCREASE THE USE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN BOATS BY IMPROVING THE INTERNAL TRANSPORT ACCESSIBILITY OF THE CITY BY IMPROVING COMMUNICATION LINKS AND IMPROVING THE FUNCTIONING OF THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM, BY IMPROVING THE STATE OF TRAM INFRASTRUCTURE AND IMPROVING THE SAFETY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT PASSENGERS. About the Low-carbon economy objective

Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €13.6M toward a total project cost of €16.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
