Szeged-Hódmezővásárhely tram-train system — vehicle purchase
The aim of the development is to develop public transport between Hódmezővásárhely and Szeged, thereby creating an attractive and safe alternative to individual car traffic, which can lead to a negative trend in the proportion of users of public transport and passenger cars, and an increase in the number of passengers travelling in public transport. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €42.3M toward a total project cost of €49.8M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
