Developing a low-carbon economy and improving the mobility of citizens by improving sustainable public transport within the ROF
The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the use of low-carbon transport in the Rzeszów Functional Area, and in particular in the 9 municipalities involved in its implementation, which are associated within the Association of PKS Municipalities. These include the municipalities: Black, Czudec, Boguchwała, Chmielnik, Głogów Małopolska, Krasne, Świlcza, Trzebownisko and Tyczyn. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €19.5M toward a total project cost of €23.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
