Śląska Digital Medical Platform eCareMed – Telemedicine and the exploration of medical data (with the task of integrating teleoncology services of the University Clinical Centre into the Silesian Digital Medical Platform eCareMed and with the task of including telecardiology and teleneurology of the Upper Silesian Medical Centre.
This investment concerns the implementation of integrated ICT solutions, which will support the activities of all medical entities involved in a comprehensive process of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and monitoring of the patient’s condition outside medical facilities, while providing tools to improve and facilitate medical consultation and diagnosis based on full availability of electronic medical records. The eCareMed platform will provide numerous functionalities to design and implement many new organizational, decision-making and diagnostic processes based on modern ICT solutions. …
About the Information and communication technologies objective
Thematic Objective 2 finances information and communication technologies — broadband roll-out, e-government, e-health, digital skills and the digitisation of public services. It targets the digital divide between EU regions in the 2014–2020 period.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €16.7M toward a total project cost of €19.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
