Lipik’s business incubator
The Lipik entrepreneurial incubator project in Liverpool II develops new entrepreneurial infrastructure by building a net area of 1 936.99 m² of premises in operating space in support to start-up entrepreneurs and the development of farms in the city of Lipu and its surroundings, where there is an objective need for this infrastructure due to the lack of available capacity for the development of entrepreneurial activities.
About the Competitiveness of SMEs objective
Thematic Objective 3 backs the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through grants, financial instruments, business-development services and internationalisation support. SMEs account for the bulk of EU employment, so the objective acts as a regional jobs lever.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.6M toward a total project cost of €2.8M — a co-funding rate of 94%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
