Rehabilitation of tram infrastructure in Iasi – Reorganisation of traffic on Tudor Vladimirescu Boulevard
The general objective of the project is the rehabilitation in Iasi Municipality of the infrastructure and superstructure of the tram taxiway on the route between Bucşinescu – Tudor Vladimirescu Boulevard – the intersection of Chişinău Calea, including Tudor Vladimirescu Bridge and the purchase of rolling stock, thus contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions in the municipality through investments based on the IASI SUMP. About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €17.2M toward a total project cost of €20.2M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
