The overall objective of the integrated project is to reduce carbon emissions in Baia Mare Municipality through investments in the creation of sustainable urban mobility corridors in Baia Mare Municipality, especially by creating a dedicated band for urban public passenger transport and which will improve the efficiency of the public passenger transport system. About the Low-carbon economy objective

Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €15.5M toward a total project cost of €18.3M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
