Mechanical Engineering Competence Centre

The aim of the Competence Centre in this project is to increase the competitiveness of merchants by promoting cooperation of research and industry sector, implementing research projects, which develop new products and technologies and introduce in its production in the sub-area of advanced manufacturing technologies and engineering systems in mechanical engineering and metalworking sector, involving at least 20 industries/interdisciplinary and several scientific partners. About the Research, technological development and innovation objective

Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation. It supports R&D infrastructure, technology transfer, business-academia partnerships and pilot lines that close the gap between scientific discovery and market application across EU regions.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.7M toward a total project cost of €9.7M — a co-funding rate of 49%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
