Regional project for the development of water and wastewater infrastructure in Mehedinti County in 2014-2020
The general objective of the project is to improve the water and sewerage infrastructure in the localities of the project area, in order to meet the obligations established by the Accession Treaty and the relevant European Directives.
About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €38.2M toward a total project cost of €45.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
