The main objectives of this project are: Rehabilitation/modernisation of 101.98 kilometres of national roads, rehabilitation of 17 bridges, construction of seven new bridges (total bridges 24 pieces) and arrangement of 33 intersections. — Reducing travel time between Pitesti and Brasov 9,1 minutes; — Reduction in operating costs of vehicles; — increase traffic safety: estimated 10 % reduction in the number of accidents due to road modernisation and implementation of measures to enhance safety.
