The project is based on the transport policy of the Slovak Republic and on the long-term strategy of ZSSK, a.s., in the field of the modernisation of the fleet of rolling stock in order to provide more attractive and quality services ŽOD. Co-funding: the EU contributes €28.4M toward a total project cost of €33.4M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
