The project follows directly and is a continuation of the project “I/66 Brezno – bypass, I.etapa”, implemented in the length of 2.542 km and serves to complete the next part of the bypass of the town of Brezno. The subject of the project is the construction of the 1st Section II. Stage I/66 bypass of the city of Brezno with a length of 1.640 km in order to divert transit, mostly heavy freight traffic, which is routed through the city further along the roads I/72 and II/529 outside the built-up area of the city.
