Sanitation and purification of the Western Territorial System. TM Guide of Isora (Tenerife)
The purpose of this action is to improve the sanitation and purification of the Western District System in Tenerife, and to resolve the problems of non-compliance with the Directive on water protection 91/271 / CEE, as well as the regeneration of water treated residuals to allow reuse. It will be carried out, through the construction of a system of collectors in the midlands and a new regional WWTP that would collect and treat waste, as well as a coastal system and an ETBAR in Playa de San Juan that would collect waste, treat and boost it to the new WWTP.

Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €21.5M toward a total project cost of €26.2M — a co-funding rate of 82%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
