TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR NETWORK MANAGEMENT PROTECTED AREAS RN2000
The purpose of this technical assistance is to provide technical support to the Directorate-General for the Management of the Natural Environment and Protected Areas and to all protected natural areas in order to carry out work aimed at protecting and, where appropriate, restoring natural values, as well as promoting ecosystem services, through planning, management, monitoring, coordination, participation and evaluation strategies in the Andalusian Network of Protected Natural Areas, with particular attention to the Natura 2000 Network. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €24.2M toward a total project cost of €30.2M — a co-funding rate of 80%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
