Wallers Arenberg is one of the 5 major sites of mining memory in Hauts-de-France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for cultural and evolutionary landscapes. With the end of the Arenberg well mining in 1989, the CAPH wanted to reconvert this site to create a site dedicated to image and digital research. This project to rehabilitate the Arenberg mining site and its project “Arenberg Creative Mine” required several phases of work.
